[BRIEF]
As part of United Nations World Oceans Day with Oceanic Global, the goal was to bring together intergenerational and diverse musicians and audiences to celebrate the ocean and ignite collective action to protect it. In the midst of COVID-19, the UN needed a powerful, global-format virtual experience that could conclude the event and connect viewers emotionally to the ocean conservation movement.

Visceral Studios co-founded Concert for the Ocean, as part of Oceanic Global, helping conceptualise and produce the event, leading on artist curation and booking for the 2020 and 2021 fully virtual editions during COVID-19. Designed as the closing moment of United Nations World Oceans Day at UN Headquarters, the concerts brought together a globally diverse lineup including Angélique Kidjo, Fatoumata Diawara, Bomba Estéreo, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, EarthGang, Little Dragon, Alice Phoebe Lou, Bombino, Vieux Farka Toure, Nick Mulvey, Valerie June, and more uniting audiences worldwide through music, culture, and a shared commitment to ocean protection.
